The RSPCA is appealing for Halesowen people to act as volunteer fosterers to look after the pets of people who have been victims of domestic abuse.
The RSPCA's Wales & West region runs a PetRetreat scheme to fill the gaps left by refuges, very few of which can arrange pet fostering and most of which cannot shelter pets due to health and safety regulations and allergy concerns.
Anyone who can help out can call Carolyn on 0300 123 8278.
