Extra bus

Bus passengers in Oldbury are celebrating after getting an extra bus service to Dudley.

The 87 service, which runs from Birmingham and is operated by Diamond Bus, was extended to Dudley from Sunday May 11.

The company decided to act after passengers requested the changes at the Sandwell bus user's conference in March.

Councillor Roger Horton, lead member for Sandwell council on Centro, said: "I am glad Diamond was able to come to the conference, listen to people's concerns and act on them."
