All aboard
Halesowen boating enthusiasts can take a trip back in time this weekend.
Coombeswood Canal Trust is holding its annual open weekend at Hawne Basin, on Hereward Rise, from 10am on Saturday and Sunday.
The popular free event regularly attracts more than 1,000 visitors who this year will be able to enjoy barge trips and supervised canoeing.
Youngsters will be able to find enjoyment in the play tent and fairground, while further attractions include a traction engine, fairground organ, tombola, book stall and live entertainment.
Hot and cold food is also available.
