Re: EU say no to trade unions'
Mr Walker's letter (March 13) says the EU is anti trade unions.
This is another EU myth like: EU to ban prawn flavoured crisps' or EU says eggs will have to be stamped with details of which hen laid them'.
The EU legislative power of the Reform Treaty does not apply to pay, the right to association or the right to strike...and therefore does not affect UK law' (see for instance Q&Q on Reform Treaty' - http://ec.europa.eu/unitedkingdom/information/focus/reform_treaty_en.htm)
