Open church

St Peter's Church in Lapal is inviting people to see its refurbished church and flower festival.

The Hiplands Road church's pews have been replaced by new chairs thanks to worshippers who are getting married and there is a new sanctuary carpet thanks to donations from congregation members on their deaths.

Worshippers are inviting the community to visit the church on Sunday May 25 from 2pm until 4pm for a cup of tea when they will be able to see the flower arrangements and improvements.
