Council under the microscope
Residents can examine the work of the council at a meeting in Oldbury next month.
A Scrutiny Stakeholder event will take place at Sandwell Council House, on Friday June 6 at 9.30am and is open to people interested in the council's scrutiny committees.
Scrutiny Management board councillor John Edwards said: "We are inviting members of the public to attend along with members of the council involved in scrutiny, senior officers of the local authority and representatives of the voluntary and community sector."
Places are limited and people interested should contact the Scrutiny Unit on 0121 5693160 or email scrutiny_unit@sandwell.gov.uk.
