The Mayors of two neighbouring boroughs joined forces to open Mary Stevens Hospice's new shop in Blackheath.
The Mayor of Dudley, councillor David Stanley, and the Mayor of Sandwell, cllr Gurcharan Singh Sidhu, officially unveiled the hospice's tenth store on Friday August 31.
Business manager Simon Henwood said: "We are really excited and delighted to open a shop in Blackheath, as it is in our catchment area.
"We are also pleased the Mayor of Dudley and the Mayor of Sandwell were able to attend."
Donations of furniture, bric a brac and clothing are being sought to stock the new shop and volunteers are also still needed.
